/ Can Yanardag is an interaction designer and design researcher at Laerdal Medical’s extended reality team, creating immersive virtual experiences for nurse training. He is also part of the design collective, Senseless World, where he creates mixed reality experiences and spatial interactions involving ritual, play and storytelling.

/ With a background in visual arts and archaeology, Can likes to explore the evolution of human technology, design and behaviour from the ancient past to the near future. He is particularly interested in speculative design, design ethics and emerging technologies as they apply to the fields of biology/medicine, art/culture and machine intelligence.

/ In addition to visual arts, Can has studied graphic design and interaction design and he holds degrees from Parsons School of Design, Brown University, and CIID. He is originally from Istanbul.
